Kickstart your career in care with our Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship. This program is designed to equip you with the essential skills, confidence, and compassionate mindset needed to support adults who require care and assistance.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in real care environments like residential homes, supported living facilities, and community settings. Under the mentorship of seasoned professionals, you'll help individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity, all while building a career you can truly be proud of.

What You'll Learn

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will cultivate key knowledge, skills, and behaviours (KSBs) vital for success in adult care, including:

  • Promoting health, safety, and well-being within care settings
  • Supporting individuals with daily living and personal care
  • Communicating effectively to foster trust and positive relationships
  • Safeguarding and protecting vulnerable individuals
  • Thriving as part of a professional care team
  • Understanding duty of care and person-centred approaches

Additionally, you'll complete:

  • The Level 2 Diploma for the Adult Care Worker
  • Functional Skills in English and mathematics (when applicable)
  • Functional Skills in English and mathematics (when applicable)

Funding and Support

Our apprenticeships are fully funded or heavily subsidised, so you won’t need to worry about tuition fees

  • If you’re aged 16–21, your funding is fully covered.
  • If you’re 19 or older, the government significantly funds your training.
