This apprenticeship skills you with the confidence and skills necessary to embrace more complex responsibilities in healthcare. You will develop expertise in a variety of key areas, including:

  • Delivering clinical and therapeutic care with compassion

Progression Opportunities

Once you complete the apprenticeship, a world of opportunities opens up for your career advancement into higher-level care and leadership roles, such as:

  • Assistant Practitioner
  • Lead Practitioner in Adult Care (Level 4)
  • Leader in Adult Care (Level 5)
  • Nursing Associate or other healthcare pathways

You'll need to be actively engaged in a healthcare setting and be genuinely dedicated to supporting others with kindness and professionalism.

Funding and Support

Levy-Paying Employers: You can fully utilise your Apprenticeship Levy contributions to cover the costs of your apprenticeship training.

Non-Levy Employers: The government covers 95% of training costs, so you'll only need to contribute 5%. Plus, there's full funding available for learners aged 16 to 21.

Duration & Delivery
  • Typical Duration- 15–18 months
    Delivery Model-Our dynamic blended learning approach combines hands-on workplace training with engaging online sessions and face-to-face visits. You'll receive continuous tutor support and practical skills coaching, all designed to fit around your professional duties. This flexibility ensures you can gain vital skills while advancing your career in the healthcare sector.
Assessment
  • At the culmination of your apprenticeship, you will undertake an End Point Assessment (EPA), which typically consists of:

    - A multiple-choice test to evaluate your knowledge

    - An observation of your practice in the workplace

    - A professional discussion supported by your extensive portfolio
